What are the functions of shock-proof gloves?

There is something special about choosing anti-vibration gloves. Anti-vibration gloves are based on gauze gloves and leather gloves. A certain thickness of foam plastic, latex and air-laminated synthetic rubber or foam rubber is added to the palm of the glove to absorb vibration. In cold environments, the above materials can also be added to cold-proof gloves to provide anti-vibration effects.

Anti-vibration gloves should comply with the “General Technical Conditions for Anti-Vibration Gloves”. For example, the thickness of the anti-vibration structural layer should not exceed 7mm, and certain attenuation values should be achieved for vibrations of different frequencies. According to different materials, anti-vibration gloves can be divided into the following different types.

Rubber tube type: A fixed rubber tube made of natural rubber is set between each joint of the finger and palm. It has the advantages of absorbing vibration, being able to bend, having heat insulation and heat resistance, and is widely used.

Sponge type: Install a sponge on the palm. If the sponge is thick, it can improve the vibration absorption effect. But if it is too thick, the resistance of the bending part will increase and hinder the operation. Therefore, it needs to be selected according to the work requirements.

Air-eye type: This type of glove has a small mass and good working performance. However, if it is damaged due to external force, its vibration-absorbing performance will be reduced, so it is not suitable for destructive work. The air eye and sponge are shared. The air eye is easily damaged under the action of external force. Adding a sponge can effectively prevent this situation. It is characterized by high vibration absorption performance and easy use.

Air type: This kind of gloves uses a professional air pump to fill the gloves with air, and its performance is very superior. But if the air is too full, it will easily burst, so it is best to fill it to 70% full.

Round rubber type: This kind of glove is made by cutting a rubber tube like an octopus’s suction cup into a short length and installing it on a nylon glove. This alone can avoid a certain degree of vibration. If you wear leather gloves, the effect will be more obvious.

Cotton cover type: Even if two gloves are overlapped and used together, they will have very little rebound after being compressed, and the effect of absorbing vibration will be very small, so the expected effect will not be achieved.

Kind tips:

When choosing anti-vibration gloves, choose gloves that are one size larger or slightly looser. When using anti-vibration gloves, if the palm part is worn or damaged, or the anti-vibration material leaks out, it should be replaced in time.
